The Anchorage Symphony Orchestra is very grateful for the outpouring of support we have received from our community.  For those who wish to make a donation in Randy's memory, we are asking that those gifts be made to support Randy's daughter Michaela's education.  Below is the information.

Fund name:  Michaela Fleischer Education Donation Account
Bank:  Wells Fargo Bank  Savings Account
Account Number:  7415046064
Donations can be made:
1.  Checks can be taken to any Wells Fargo bank in person.  Teller needs to know name of fund. Having the account number is helpful but not necessary.
2.  Checks can also be taken to Wells Fargo and deposited with the drive up tellers.
3.  Checks made out to the fund can be sent to the ASO and we will take them to Wells Fargo.
Thank you for remembering Randy by supporting his family at this time.

To the ASO Family and Community,

Never in my 30 year tenure have I been more saddened to write to you. I wish I could have personally contacted each of you to share the sad news that our beloved Music Director Randy Fleischer passed away last night.

This announcement will be short. As Randy was beloved by many across the country, we imagine that posts will begin on social media, and we wanted you to learn of this from us.

I could fill pages about what Randy means to this organization, our community and to me personally, but for now I will say that he is one of the finest people I have ever known and one of the dearest friends I have ever had.  Please know that Randy loved his position at the ASO and loved our community.

As you can imagine this is a profound loss for the Anchorage Symphony, and we will be mourning and processing losing this incredible force, creative talent and amazing spirit.

We will be in contact. Until then please remember our dear friend Randy fondly. May he rest in peace.
